GREENWOOD, S.C. – The doubles team of
Nursharneem Shamsuddin and
Rhidaim Yang clinched a win in the #2 doubles match, but it was not enough as the Lees-McRae women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 loss to host Lander in the non-conference match this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Shamsuddin and Yang posted a 6-2 win in the #2 doubles match, which proved to be the only win the Bobcats earned on the day.
- Anita Ivanova won the first set in her #5 singles, before ultimately falling in the third-set tiebreaker.
UP NEXT:
The Bobcats will travel to Jefferson City, Tennessee on Saturday for a non-conference match against Carson-Newman at 11 a.m.
