BANNER ELK, N.C. – NCAA Division I Appalachian State won all three of the doubles matches and swept the host Bobcats in the singles competition to clinch the 7-0 non-conference match this afternoon in the Lees-McRae women's tennis home opener in the C.D. Chesley Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The doubles team of Nursharneem Shamsuddin and Anita Ivanova battled in the #1 doubles match before ultimately falling in a 6-4 match.
- Both Rhidaim Yang and Laura Ocampo nearly broke through with set victories in their #4 and #6 singles matches respectively, before falling short to their rivals form Appalachian State.
