Max Geckler won the 10,000-meter run, while
Rien Freeman,
Cameron Adair,
Brennen Pierce, and the 4x100-meter relay team all posted top-five finishes, to lead the Lees-McRae men's outdoor track & field team at the Montreat College Invitational this afternoon.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Geckler crossed first in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:15.04, which ranks third in the Southeast Region so far this season.
- Freeman posted a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:23.56, while Adair crossed fifth with a time of 10:31.46. Freeman's time currently ranks eighth in the Southeast Region so far this season.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Christian Bargaineer, Jean Origene, Brian Sims Jr., and Jayden Green finished fourth with a time of 41.75, which ranks fifth in the Southeast Region so far this season and is only .69 seconds off earning the NCAA Division II provisional time.
- Pierce crossed fifth in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:02.94.
- Origene posted a ninth-place finish in both the 100-meter dash (11.22) and in the 200-meter dash (22.78).
- Keith Holmes Jr. was 10th in the 400-meter hurdles (1:02.65).
UP NEXT:
The Bobcats will travel to Hickory, North Carolina next Friday to compete in the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears Invitational.
