MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Zai Fraser won the triple jump competition with a distance that ranks fifth in the NCAA Division II so far this season, while
Britney Augustin broke the Lees-McRae outdoor record with her second-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, to lead a select group of Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field athletes at the Mount Olive Final Qualifier on Sunday.

NOTABLES:
- Fraser won the triple jump competition with a distance of 12.81 meters, which was .01 meters off her school record (set back in 2021) and currently ranks fifth in the NCAA Division II and first in the Southeast Region so far this season.
- Augustin finished second overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.02, which broke the her own Lees-McRae outdoor record by .52 seconds, leads the Southeast Region, and ranks 12th in the NCAA Division II so far this season.
