Harrison Watts scored three goals in under 15 minutes of action for Lees-McRae men's soccer as the Bobcats won 7-0 over Emory & Henry on Wednesday night. The win also gives head coach
Taylor Morton his first collegiate victory at the helm of the program.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fletcher Dyson collected his third goal in as many matches for the Bobcats in the third minute of the match as Lees-McRae led 1-0.
- Watts doubled the score for the Bobcats in the 36th minute off an assist from Tamino Brown as Lees-McRae led 2-0 at the halftime break.
- Watts continued his dominance on the pitch with two more goals in the 46th minute of play and 50th minute to push the Bobcat lead to four goals.
- Daniel Garvilla followed Watts' lead with a goal in the 55th minute as Bryce Hamilton and Ryan Aliam got in on the goal action in the 62nd minute and 77th minute respectively.
- Joshua Garvilla and M.J. Upchurch kept the Wasps scoreless for 90 minutes as Garvilla collected two saves with Upchurch registering one on the night.
- The seven goals for the Bobcats are the most in program history since Lees-McRae tallied an 8-2 victory against Newberry in October 2018.
- Watts' hat-trick is the first for the Bobcats since Pol Vassart scored three goals in a 7-0 win on October 2017.
FOR THE WASPS:
- Yossi Burch, Louis Pereira-Scott, and Jackson Hughes each had one shot on goal for Emory & Henry.
- Spencer Scott allowed seven goals on the night and hauled in eight saves for the Wasps.
- Emory & Henry went a man-down in the 68th-minute mark as Burch was sent off with the accumulation of two yellow cards.
UP NEXT:
The Bobcats will look to continue their winning ways on Friday, September 2 at Tusculum University. The kick-off is slated for a 6 p.m. start in Greeneville, Tennessee.
