HICKORY, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis picked up the 4-3 victory at Lenoir-Rhyne on Thursday afternoon with
Lina Ngassi Saquot,
Pati Vedia Sanchez, and
Rhidaim Yang earning wins in their respective singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Vedia Sanchez and Yang paired up at the No. 2 doubles to collect the 6-1 victory and Begum Gumussoy and Ngassi Saquot recorded the doubles point for the Bobcats with the 6-2 decision at No. 3 doubles.
- Ngassi Saquot continued her strong start to the spring season with a win in straight sets over Lenoir-Rhyne's Dawson Clifford (6-2, 6-1).
- Yang joined Ngassi Saquot with a straight-set victory at No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Natalie Lutz.
- Vedia Sanchez claimed the match victory for the Bobcats with two set wins via tiebreakers.
