Lina Ngassi Saquot earned the deciding match for Lees-McRae women's tennis with the 6-3, 6-1 straight-set victory over Belmont Abbey's Elliott Peterson on Tuesday. The overall match lasted over 10 hours after being moved inside due to rain earlier in the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats earned the doubles point with Saquot and Begum Gumussoy blanking Belmont Abbey at the No. 3 doubles position, 6-0. Mei Hiramatsu and Anita Ivanova outlasted the Crusader pair at No. 1 doubles with the 7-6 (2) victory.
- Rhidaim Yang got the Bobcats their second point of the day with a straight-set 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles and Ivanova followed shortly with the 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles.
- Saquot earned the match with a clutch 6-3, 6-1 after the 10 o'clock hour inside the C.D. Chesley Tennis Courts.
- Hiramatsu played a memorable three-set match with Belmont Abbey's Frankee Hendricks with all three sets going into set tiebreakers.
