Aviva Beringhause has been named to the All-Conference Carolinas Third Team after a standout season with the Bobcats.
Beringhause, a junior from Providence, Rhode Island, ended the season with the fifth-most saves in program history in a single season with 135 and holds the all-time single-season record for saves per game at 13.5. The Bobcats, under first-year head coach
Beth Haynes, finished the season at 3-9 overall and 3-6 in Conference Carolinas play.
In Conference Carolinas, Beringhause was named the Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week twice this season and was recently selected as the player of the week after stopping 17 shots in a 20-7 victory against Southern Wesleyan. Beringhause made a career-high 22 saves at Converse on April 1 and had 20 or more saves against Barton and at Converse this season.
