Anita Ivanova and
Rhidaim Yang picked up singles victories on Monday afternoon at Lincoln Memorial, but Lees-McRae women's tennis fell to the Railsplitters, 5-2, in non-conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Miranda Noor and Lina Ngassi Saqout earned a 7-6 (5) win at No. 3 doubles at Lincoln Memorial, but the Railsplitters earned the doubles point with victories on No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
- Yang collected a straight-set win over Lincoln Memorial's Sophia Aray, 6-4, 7-5 at No. 3 singles and Ivanova followed with a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles.
- Pati Vedia Sanchez forced a third set at the No. 1 singles position, but dropped the third set, 6-0, to Adriana Pellizzari.
- Noor had a similar path to Sanchez in forcing a third set, but Lincoln Memorial's Rosalie Carrier-Dulac earned the win at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-7 (6), 6-0.
- Begum Gumussoy dropped a tough match at No. 6 singles after winning the first set, 6-1.
