BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis remained perfect on their home courts yesterday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Conference Carolinas opponent Young Harris.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats picked up the doubles point with a sweep of the doubles matches. Lina Ngassi Saqout and Miranda Noor tallied a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles. Begum Gumussoy and Rhidaim Yang collected the 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. Anita Ivanova and Pati Vedia Sanchez continued the momentum with a 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles.
- Sanchez earned the 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles and Yang followed with a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles.
- At No. 3 singles, Noor rallied back after falling in the second set, 6-4, for the 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 victory over Viviana Gomez.
- Saqout recorded a three-set victory at No. 4 singles after dropping the first set, 7-5. Saqout battled for the 5-7, 6-3, 11-9 win yesterday afternoon.
- Ivanova finished the day with a decisive 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles for Lees-McRae.
