MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis used a similar scoreline to today's victory with a 6-1 win over Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas play.
Miranda Noor and
Rhidaim Yang recorded their sixth victory in a row at their respective singles positions.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after sweeping the doubles matches. Anita Ivanova and Pati Vedia Sanchez defeated Mount Olive's No. 1 duo, 6-4. Noor and Lina Ngassi Saqout followed suit with a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
- Begum Gumussoy and Yang recorded the third win of the day with a 7-5 victory at No. 3 doubles.
- Yang quickly earned the second point for Lees-McRae with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles and Noor followed with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
- Ivanova continued the momentum at No. 4 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 decision and Gumussoy joined her fellow teammates with a straight-set victory, 6-2, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
- Saqout battled back to win in three sets at No. 5 singles, 5-7 (3), 7-5, 6-2.
