DUE WEST, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis handed No. 18 Erskine their first home loss in Conference Carolinas play this afternoon in Due West, 4-3, since the Flying Fleet lost to Emmanuel in March 2021.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Erskine earned the first point of the match with doubles victories at No. 1 and 2 doubles. Miranda Noor and Lina Ngassi Saqout secured the win at No. 3 doubles for the Bobcats, 6-3.
- Miranda Noor knotted the match at one point apiece at No. 3 singles after her opponent retired in the first set. Rhidaim Yang followed with a straight-set victory, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 2 singles.
- Pati Vedia Sanchez earned the third point for the Bobcats in the comeback victory with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.
- Begum Gumussoy clinched the 4-3 match victory for the Bobcats at No. 6 singles with a 7-5, 1-6, 6-2 win over Rupal Kharb.
