WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams returned to action on Sunday at the Flat is Fast Invite in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Josh Gillis broke the school record in the Mile on Sunday with a time of 4:24.12.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Gillis recorded a school record in the 1 Mile with a time of 4:24.12 and placed fourth in the event.
- JD Green notched a height of 1.98 meters in the Men's High Jump and placed third in the event.
- Joshua Ehresman earned a throw of 13.97 meters in the Men's Shot Put and registered sixth in the event. Khan Cline had a throw of 13.04 meters and placed 11th.
- Lodrick Scott took ninth in the Men's 400 Meter with a time of 53.32. Rien Freeman earned eighth in the 600 Meters with a time of 1:31.96 and Brennen Pierce placed 10th in the event with a time of 1:36.54.
- Scott tallied a 10th-place finish in the Triple Jump with a mark of 13.39 meters and Tayo Bankole placed 15th with a mark of 12.32 meters.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Lora Dillon collected a jump of 5.35 meters in the Long Jump and place fourth in the event.
- Keagan Osika tallied a fourth-place finish in the 400 Meters with a time of 1:02.36.
- Symone Taylor recorded eighth place in the 60 Meter (Qualifying) race with a time of 8.12. Sandryne Camire finished with a time of 8.22.
- Morgan Gray had a 10.56 meter throw in the Women's Shot Put and placed eighth in the event.
