MILL SPRING, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's track field returned to the Tryon International Indoor Complex for the second time this indoor season and the Bobcats had two top-ten finishes with
Joshua Ehresman in the Men's Shot Put and
Josh Brett in the Men's 3,000 Meters.
THE BASICS
MEET: Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational
LOCATION: Tryon International Indoor Complex – Mill Spring, North Carolina
MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Ehresman set the school record once again in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 14.56 meters and earned seventh place.
- Brett picked up a top-ten performance in the Men's 3,000 Meters with a time of 8:42.08.
- Conner Frizzell stopped the clock in the Men's 800 Meters with a time of 1:57.55.
- Domenic Bruzzo-Morello finished the Men's 5,000 Meters in a time of 16:06.69 for the Bobcats. Jordan Cates followed with a time of 16:33.32. Bruzzo-Morello finished second in the Men's 3,000 Meters with a time of 9:09.21 in the morning session.
- Tayo Bankole had a mark of 12.26 meters in the Triple Jump and Cayden Roscoe finished with a jump of 12.14 meters.
- Isaac Reyna finished 12th in the Men's Mile with a time of 4:26.59.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Rebecca Kleiber finished the mile on Saturday with a time of 5:59.70.
- Aija McHone completed the 800 Meters with a time of 2:27.63 and placed 19th.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams will now compete in the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships set for February 22 and 23 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
