LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field started their 2025-26 season at the Liberty Kickoff Invitational in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Lodrick Scott led the Bobcats with a fourth-place finish in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.74 meters.
THE BASICS

LOCATION: Liberty Indoor Track Complex – Lynchburg, Virginia
MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Scott had a mark of 6.74 meters in the Men's Long Jump to lead the Bobcats with a top-five finish. Cayden Roscoe joined Scott in the top ten with a jump of 6.39 meters.
- Carson Grue led the Bobcats in the Men's 60 Meter Dash with a time of 7.04. Grue competed in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 23.42.
- Morris Johnson stopped the clock in the 400 Meters with a time of 53.02 and Alejandro Peredia followed with a time of 54.69.
- Roscoe cleared 1.80 meters in the Men's High Jump and placed 18th individually. Roscoe also finished in 12th in the Men's Triple Jump with a mark of 12.66 meters. Tayo Bankole followed in 14th with a jump of 12.00 meters.
- Joshua Ehresman led the Bobcat throwers in the Men's Shot Put with a mark of 14.23 meters. Khan Cline followed with a throw of 13.54 meters.
- Andrew Belcher had a mark of 14.29 meters in the Men's Weight Throw and Cline held a mark of 12.21 meters.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Keagan Osika finished the 300 Meter Dash in a time of 41.62 seconds and placed 17th in the event.
- Landri Martinka placed 16th in the Women's 400 Meters with a time of 1:01.82. Ellie Cobb followed in 20th place with a time of 1:02.42.
- Osika continued her meet in the Women's High Jump and placed 10th with a clearance of 1.53 meters.
- Jocelyn Walker cleared three meters in the Women's Pole Vault and placed 10th.
- Devon Davis notched a throw of 8.99 meters in the Women's Shot Put for Lees-McRae.
