BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis picked up the 5-0 win over Winston-Salem State on Sunday. The Bobcats only dropped eight games in their completed matches today.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Alexa Mazzei and Miranda Noor earned the 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles. Begum Gumussoy and Lina Ngassi Saqout also earned the 6-0 victory at No. 3 doubles.
- Lees-McRae swept the doubles with a 6-1 win from Pati Vedia Sanchez and Anita Ivanova at No. 1 doubles.
- Ivanova dispatched her opponent at 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Noor made the match, 3-0, in favor of Lees-McRae with the 6-4, 6-1 win.
- Saqout collected a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and Mazzei won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4 singles for the completed matches.
- Caroline Brothers was winning her match at No. 5 singles at 5-0 before the match was halted.
