SALISBURY, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis battled the No. 24 Catawba Indians on Monday afternoon, but the Bobcats fell 7-0 in Salisbury.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Catawba earned the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and 2 doubles. Begum Gumussoy and Lina Ngassi Saqout earned the 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
- Three Bobcats had their matches go three sets, but Lees-McRae fell in all six singles matches on Monday afternoon.
- Pati Vedia Sanchez forced the third set at No. 1 singles, but fell 0-6, 6-4, 2-6 to Catawba's Sofia Antolini.
- Miranda Noor earned the first set in a tiebreaker and fell in three sets, 7-6, 1-6, 5-7.
- Saqout also went three sets, but fell to Catawba's Lilliana Drukerova in a ten-point tiebreak in the third.
