BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis returned to its winning ways on Wednesday afternoon with a 6-1 win over Tusculum in a non-conference match.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats collected the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles. Miranda Noor and Alexa Mazzei defeated the No. 2 pair from Tusculum, 6-4. Begum Gumussoy and Lina Ngassi Saqout earned the doubles victory at the No. 3 court, 7-5.
- Caroline Brothers defeated Luisa Gerke, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 6 singles for the second point of the day for the Bobcats.
- Mazzei earned the straight-set victory at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-2 and Saqout followed with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles.
- Anita Ivanova delivered with a 7-6 (1), 6-0 win at No. 4 singles and Noor completed the comeback at No. 2 singles in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
