Ski & Snowboard Begins USCSA National Championships on Tuesday

BEND, Ore. – The Lees-McRae Ski & Snowboard team is in Bend, Oregon this week at Mt. Bachelor for the 2025 U.S. Collegiate Ski & Snowboard National Championships. 13 Bobcats made the trip to Oregon and the action begins tomorrow for Lees-McRae.

On the women's side, Abi Byrd, Anna Craver, Lilly Kamp, Shelby Knaak, and Nicole Yoos will compete in the Snowboard Alpine/Freestyle competition. The events include Giant Slalom, Slalom, Boardercross, Rail Jam, and Slopestyle.

On the men's side, Luke Koch, Kenneth Stanford, Aiden Garner, Chance Markland, and Spencer Gibson will compete for the Alpine Team. The five Bobcats will compete in the Giant Slalom, Slalom, and Boardercross starting Tuesday. Stanford, Markland, Luke Elting, Ben McCain, and Gavin Seddon will compete in the freestyle events comprising Rail Jam and Slopestyle.
