WILSON, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis moved its win streak to six in a row with a 5-2 Conference Carolinas victory at Barton on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats opened the match with a sweep of the doubles matches. Miranda Noor and Alexa Mazzei blanked Barton's No. 2 duo at 6-0. Anita Ivanova and Pati Vedia Sanchez won 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. Caroline Brothers and Lina Ngassi Saqout continued the momentum at No. 3 doubles with a 7-5 victory.
- Sanchez defeated Barton's Tilde Howeler 7-5, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. Saqout collected the 6-4, 7-6 (1) win at No. 3 singles and Ivanova used a comeback victory at No. 4 singles, 5-7, 7-6 (2), 6-4.
- Mazzei battled for a three-set win at No. 5 singles for the fifth point of the day for Lees-McRae.
