BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis returned to Banner Elk and defeated No. 35 Erskine, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Miranda Noor clinched the match for the Bobcats with a three-set victory at No. 2 singles.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Flying Fleet earned the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles. Pati Vedia Sanchez and Anita Ivanova claimed the win at No. 1 doubles with the 6-2 win.
- Alexa Mazzei evened the match with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win over Erskine's Czarina Aguirre at No. 5 singles.
- Sanchez followed with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles and Ivanova won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4 singles over Rupal Kharb.
- Noor battled back to force a third set and collected the victory at No. 2 singles, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1.
- Caroline Brothers forced a third set at No. 6 singles, but Erskine's Noemi Sarah Boeske collected the 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win on the No. 6 court.
