GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's basketball seniors
Nico Ashley and
Ja'Quavian Florence have been selected to the All-Conference Carolinas teams as announced by the conference this morning. Florence was voted to the third team and Ashley garnered all-defensive team honors.
Florence led the Bobcats in scoring with 17.1 points per game and distributed a team-high 80 assists in 27 games played. Florence finished this season with the 12th most points in Conference Carolinas and 14th among conference student-athletes in assists with 80. In two seasons with Lees-McRae, Florence recorded 829 points, 124 assists, and 92 steals in 57 games played.
Ashley was honored to the all-defensive team on Thursday morning after finishing the season with the third-most blocks in the conference with 34. Ashley averaged 9.5 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per contest for the Bobcats in 23 games for the 2024-25 season. Ashley ended his Bobcat career with a program-best 93 blocks over three seasons and averaged 8.9 points per game.
