CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Lees-McRae women's tennis earned the 6-1 Conference Carolinas victory over Young Harris today in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats used victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles to pick up the doubles point. Alexa Mazzei and Miranda Noor dispatched their opponents, 6-1, at No. 2 doubles. Caroline Brothers and Lina Ngassi Saqout collected the 6-2 win over the No. 3 pair from Young Harris.
- Noor continued her strong day with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Viviana Gomez at No. 2 singles and Saqout followed with a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles.
- Pati Vedia Sanchez claimed the 7-5, 6-1 win over Simone Mercier at No. 1 singles. Brothers recorded a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 6 singles.
- Mazzei battled back for the 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles for the Bobcats.
