Women's Tennis to Face Columbus State in Opening Round of Southeast Regional

INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time since 2002, Lees-McRae women's tennis is headed to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional. The Bobcats earned the sixth seed and will face the third-seeded Columbus State Cougars next Monday on the campus of North Georgia.

The Bobcats earned their first Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Tournament Title since 2002 on Sunday at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina. Lees-McRae is currently 18-5 on the season and finished Conference Carolinas play with an undefeated mark of 12-0.

Lees-McRae tallied the most wins in this season in school history since 2002 when the Bobcats went 18-5 overall and 11-0 in league matches.
