BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae College Director of Cycling
Tim Hall announced the signing of Aidan Russ to the 2025-26 class for the men's cycling program.
Russ comes to Lees-McRae from Apex, North Carolina where he graduated from Apex High School. He plans to focus on road racing for the Bobcats.
"I chose to come to Lees-McRae because I knew this is where I would have the best opportunity to learn and grow both as an athlete and as a person," said Russ. "The cycling program at Lees-McRae is incredible and does an amazing job of developing its riders, and with the ambitions I have I knew I wanted to be a part of that."
Russ intends to major in Exercise Science at Lees-McRae.
