GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's tennis was picked to finish first in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Preseason Poll with Erskine.
Pati Vedia Sanchez and
Lina Ngassi Saqout were named Players to Watch for the upcoming season.
After winning both the regular season and tournament in 2025, Lees-McRae women's tennis was voted first in the preseason rankings with seven first-place votes and 160 total points. Erskine followed with 160 total points and five first-place votes. Belmont Abbey collected the final two first-place votes. Mount Olive and Francis Marion rounded out the top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.
The Bobcats open their season on Sunday, February 8 against Tusuclum in a non-conference match.
