GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's track & field Senior
Isaac Reyna has been recognized as the Conference Carolinas Men's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at the VMI Winter Relays.
Reyna, a Thomasville, North Carolina native, secured two first-place finishes in the 3,000 and 5,000 Meters over the weekend. Reyna also set the school record in the 3,000 Meters with a time of 8:40.00.
In Conference Carolinas, Reyna ranks first in the 3,000 Meters and fellow teammate Josh Brett follows in second place. Reyna also holds the second-best time among conference student-athletes in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:19.83. Reyna has a qualifying time in conference in the mile with a time of 4:25.86.
Lees-McRae men's track & field is back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Tryon International Collegiate Meet in Mill Spring, North Carolina
