DUE WEST, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's basketball earned its 18th victory of the 2025-26 season with the 77-66 Conference Carolinas win at Erskine this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Nadiya Hairston scored the first points of the contest with a fastbreak layup at the 8:47 mark of the first quarter. Sandra Mason tied the game at 5-5 with a three-pointer with 6:48 left in the opening quarter.
- Lees-McRae trailed by five after a three-pointer from Erskine, but Kaylee Carson cut the deficit to three points off a fastbreak jumpshot.
- Carson tied the game at 16-16 with 9:19 left in the first half and Lees-McRae regained the lead at 20-18 off a jumper from Sydney Gueterman. The Bobcats took the 30-29 lead into the halftime break.
- Lees-McRae moved the margin to eight points on free throw makes from Hairston. The Bobcats held the 50-45 advantage into the final 10 minutes of the game.
- In the fourth, Kirsten Watt pushed the lead to nine points with 5:15 to play and the Bobcats held off Erskine for the 77-66 road win in Due West, South Carolina.
- Carson led the Bobcats with 16 points and pulled in seven rebounds. Watt followed with a season-high 15 points off the bench. Hairston and Braelyn Stilwell joined them in double-digit scoring with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
- Lees-McRae went 27-76 (35.5%) from the floor with six made three-pointers and 17-20 from the charity stripe.
