YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Lees-McRae men's lacrosse scored the first eight goals this afternoon in today's 17-6 Conference Carolinas victory over Young Harris.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Cole Morris opened the day with three goals in the first eight minutes of game action. The Bobcats added four more goals in the first quarter for the 7-0 advantage.
- Mark Henderson tallied a man-up goal at 14:49 mark of the second quarter and Lees-McRae led 12-2 at the halftime break.
- Lees-McRae registered five more goals in the second half for the 17-6 Conference Carolinas win at Young Harris on Saturday.
- Morris led the Bobcats with four goals and two assists. Henderson followed with three goals and one assist. Matthias Oslund and Adam Ross each tallied two goals. Six additional Bobcats recorded one goal in the win.
- Bennett Gibbons won 15-21 from the faceoff today and picked up 12 ground balls.
- Alex Epple made 13 saves in goal and Mathew Adkins recorded three saves in the fourth quarter.

Lees-McRae heads to Mount Olive, North Carolina next Saturday at 2 p.m. to face the Trojans in a Conference Carolinas battle.
