GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's soccer was selected to finish seventh in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Preseason Poll. Adam Condron, Conor Hart, and Jonathan Kienle were named Players to Watch for the upcoming season.
Young Harris received nine first-place votes and 189 total points to earn the top spot. Francis Marion followed with three first-place votes and 174 points. Chowan, North Greenville, and Converse rounded out the top five, respectively, and collected one first-place vote apiece. Barton was picked to finish sixth and Lees-McRae followed in seventh with 116 points. Belmont Abbey, Mount Olive, and Emmanuel were voted eighth, ninth, and 10th in the conference rankings.
The Bobcats kick off 2026 in the Shope Classic against Chowan on Thursday, August 27 in Murfreesboro, North Carolina.
The 2026 Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship is scheduled to begin with preliminary rounds on October 28 and 31 before semifinals and final will be competed at Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina on November 6 and 8.
