ZIRCONIA, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's cycling gravity student-athlete
Guillermo Tovar registered two victories over the weekend in Downhill and Dual Slalom at the SECCC Conference Championships at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina.

RACE: SECCC Conference Championships at Ride Rock Creek
LOCATION: Zirconia, North Carolina
NOTABLES:
- Omar Wilson started his weekend with a runner-up finish in the Men's Cross Country Pro Cat 1/2 on Saturday morning. Gabriel Saenz missed a top-ten finish by one place in 11th and Phillip Naude earned 14th for the Bobcats in Cross Country.
- Tovar picked up the first of two victories over the weekend in Dual Slalom on Saturday with a finals victory of Lindsey Wilson's Louison Arnaud. Max Ligman and Connor Parmalee finished in 14th and 21st for the Bobcats.
- On Sunday morning, Wilson collected second place in the Short Track discipline and Naude joined him with a tenth place finish.
- Tovar completed his weekend in style with a championship finish in the Downhill on Sunday. Ligman joined him with a top-five finish and Parmalee placed 12th.
- Lees-McRae also took home the team omnium championship for the 2026 SECCC Mountain Bike Season.
