COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lees-McRae men's cycling continued its Mountain Bike season on Saturday and Sunday at Lindsey Wilson University in Columbia, Kentucky.
Omar Wilson earned the top spots in both Short Track Cross Country and Cross Country.
THE BASICS
RACE: Lindsey Wilson MTB Showdown
LOCATION: Columbia, Kentucky
NOTABLES:
- Wilson started his weekend with first place in the Short Track discipline. Phillip Naude followed his fellow teammate in third and Schaeffer Locklear took sixth in the race. Simon Donner and Gabriel Saenz rounded out the Bobcats in the top 10.
- Guillermo Tovar placed fourth for the Bobcats in Dual Slalom on Saturday and Ben Ovington earned ninth in the discipline.
- Wilson swept the endurance events once again with a first-place finish in the Cross Country race on Sunday. Donner placed fifth and Naude collected sixth in the event. Saenz and Ryan Svery recorded eighth and 10th, respectively.
- Ovington led the Bobcats in Downhill with fifth on Sunday and Connor Parmalee placed sixth.
