Laura Walker collected a season-high six saves in today's 0-0 Conference Carolinas draw against Belmont Abbey on Tate Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a two hour weather delay, Lees-McRae opened conference play against Belmont Abbey on Tate Field.
- The Bobcats had a chance in the 19th minute with a shot from Addy Geiss, but the shot was saved by Belmont Abbey's Ryleigh Dougherty. The two sides went into the halftime break deadlocked at zero.
- The Crusaders had a shot on goal in the 48th minute, but Walker kept the contest at 0-0 with a save.
- Lees-McRae and Belmont Abbey ended the Conference Carolinas opener with a 0-0 draw.
- Walker made six saves and earned her first clean sheet of the season.
- Geiss and Kamden Lewis had shots on goal for the Bobcats.
