2018 Season (Junior) - During his third season as a Bobcat, Thompson competed mainly in the 3000m and 5000m races...Finished within the top three in the 5000m run in four consecutive meets to close out the outdoor season...In that stretch, Thompson set a new personal-best time in the event with a mark of 15:36.48 and won the same event at the Catamount Classic in mid-April...As a student, Thompson was named to the league's presidential honor roll and was named to the Academic All-Conference squad for the first time in his career. 

2016-17 Season (Sophomore) - In his sophomore season, Thompson participated eight times...Thompson set new personal bests in 1500m, 3000m and 5000m runs as a sophomore...The Cleveland, Georgia native finished second twice...One was at the Mountaineer Open Indoor Track Meet where he finished with a time of 9:21.51 in the 3000m...He also finished second at the Montreat Invitational in the 5000m run where he posted a time of 15:40.20...For the second straight season, Thompson was named to the conference's Presidential Honor Roll. 

2015-16 Season (Freshman) - Thompson competed in 10 different meets in his first season as a part of the LMC track & field program...The Cleveland, Georgia native tallied three top five finishes in three seperate events...His best finish came at the LRU Powersox Inviational in the 5000m run where he was third...While at that meet, Thompson also finished fourth in the 1500m run...Thompson's final top five finish came at the conference meet where he helped LMC finish fourth in the distance medley relay....Named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll after the season.
