Caleb Eidson,
Cooper Gobble, and
J.D. McCray all posted a pair of second-place finishes, while the 400-free relay team posted a victory, as the Lees-McRae men's swimming team fell short on Senior Day in a dual meet against Milligan at the Watauga County Parks and Recreation in Boone, North Carolina.
THE BASICS
MEN'S RESULTS: Milligan – 176; Lees-McRae – 80
LOCATION: Watauga County Parks and Recreation – Boone, North Carolina
NOTABLES:
- McCray, Thomas Ware, Stephen Bandy, and Eidson won the 400-free relay with a time of 3:21.81
- Davis finished second in both the 50 back (26.30) and the 100 back (55.85), while Eidson was second in the 50 free (21.77) and the 100 free (49.57).
- Gobble posted a second-place finish in both the 100 fly (55.27) and the 50 fly (24.21).
- McCray, who was competing in his final dual meet as a Bobcat, touched second in the 200 free (1:49.04) and the 200 IM (3:21.81) respectively.
- Davis, Gobble, and Eidson teamed up with Carson Cross to finish second in the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:39.83.
UP NEXT:
The Bobcats will have two weeks off before they compete in the Conference Carolinas Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 16 in Kingsport, Tennessee.
