EMORY, Va. – The Lees-McRae men's swimming team combined with the women's swimming team for 19 event victories out of 22 on Friday night in a dual meet against Emory & Henry.
Zach Cameron and
Josh Wall picked up multiple wins in the pool for the Bobcats.

MEN'S RESULTS:Â Lees-McRae -- 151; Emory & Henry -- 54

NOTABLES:
- Lees-McRae men's swimming got the night going with the men's 200 Meter Medley Relay with Cameron joining Aaron Van Nostrand, Carter Hawkes, and Caleb Eidson for the victory in the opening event on the men's side.
- Wall collected his first individual victory of the night in the 200 Meter Freestyle with a time of 1:57.18 with Eidson and Thomas Savage following in second and third respectively.
- Cameron joined Wall with his first individual victory as a Bobcat in the 50 meter Free as Cameron touched the wall in a time of 24.30.
- Nathan Higdon registered a victory in the season-opener in the 200M IM with Aidan Williams following in second place.
- Cameron closed out the night for Lees-McRae while starting the first leg of the 200M Free Relay as the Bobcats earned the victory with Stephen Bandy joining Cameron, Savage, and Williams in the final relay.
- With the win, Lees-McRae head coach Christian Nishimura collected his first victory at the helm of the Bobcat swimming program.
