Lucia Ruchti opened the season for Lees-McRae women's swimming with two individual victories in the 100 and 200 Freestyle as the Bobcats clinched the 123-77 victory at Emory & Henry this evening.

WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Ruchti paced the Bobcats with two individual victories as the Nairobi, Kenya native touched the wall first in the 100 free in a time of 1:01.89 and registered first place in the 200 after a time of 2:16.80.
- Lees-McRae started the session with a victory in the 200-meter Medley Relay with the team of Kandace Kennedy, Fanny Courbot, Taylor Simmons, and Ruchti finished in first in a time of 2:08.68.
- Hannah Gunsallus continued the dominance for the Bobcats in the 800 Free after beating Emory & Henry's swimmer by a slim margin.
- Tate Abbott won the fourth event in a row for Lees-McRae in the 50 Free after a time of 27.20 and Guillermina Rentsch joined her teammates in the win column with a victory in the 100-meter Backstroke.
- The Bobcats closed the evening with a victory in the 200 Free Relay with Hannah Hudson joining Abbott, Ruchti, and Simmons on the top spot after finishing in 1:53.38.
- With the win, Lees-McRae head coach Christian Nishimura collected his first victory at the helm of the Bobcat swimming program.
