GAFFNEY, S.C. – Hannah Foster posted a pair of multi-hit games, but it was not enough as host Limestone tallied a combined 12 runs on 16 hits en route to clinching the non-conference twin bill against the visiting Bobcats this afternoon.
GAME #1 BASICS
FINAL SCORE: Limestone – 4; Lees-McRae – 2

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Aliyah Compton and Foster both finished with multiple hits in the early game, with Foster tallying two RBIs and Compton scoring twice.
- Lauren Ritchie also collected a hit for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae opened the scoring in the top of the first as Foster singled through the right side to score Compton from third base and give the Bobcats a 1-0 lead.
- Limestone responded in the bottom of the second with two runs on two hits to reclaim the lead.
- Foster connected on a single to left field in the top of the third inning to score Compton to even the score at 2-2.
- The score remained tied for the next two innings until a two-run bottom of the sixth inning gave the Saints a 4-2 win in the opening game.
- Megan Powell gave up three earned runs on four hits in six innings of work.
FOR THE FOES:
- Ashley Parnell went 2 for 3 from the plate in the opening game, while Carley Womach finished with two RBIs.
- Haley White surrended two earned runs on five hits in seven innings of work.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Foster went 2 for 3 from the plate in game two, while Jada Wilson connected on a two-RBI double and Jannon Glaspie went 1 for 1 from the dish.
- Wilson and Caroline Ruth (Limestone) were locked in a pitchers dual for the first four innings, allowing a combined four hits as the score remained 0-0.
- Limestone broke the deadlock in the bottom of the fifth with three runs on two hits to shift the momentum.
- Lees-McRae responded in the top of the sixth as Wilson doubled down the left field line that scored Foster and Julie Gast to trim the deficit to 3-2.
- The Saints tallied five runs on seven hits in the bottom of the sixth and held the Bobcats scoreless in the top of the seventh to clinch the non-conference twin bill.
- Wilson surrendered six earned runs on 12 hits to be credited with the loss in the circle.
FOR THE FOES:
- Three Saints finished with multiple hits in game two, led by Katie Wilbur with three hits, two RBIs, and a run scored.
- Caroline Ruth and Makayla Cyzick combined to give up two runs on four hits in seven innings of work.
