LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lees-McRae softball freshman standout Maycee Tickle was recognized on the 2026 NFCA Division II Southeast First Team on May 15.
Tickle, a Gibsonville, North Carolina native, led the Bobcats in major batting categories in the spring and concluded the season with a .453 batting average, 38 runs scored, 63 total hits, 15 doubles, six triples, six home runs, 41 RBIs, and 108 total bases. Tickle finished the spring on a 10-game on-base streak and led Lees-McRae in Conference Carolinas contests with an impressive .500 batting average.
Tickle is the first Bobcat since 2019 to earn NFCA All-Southeast recognition when Kara Cunningham was named to the all-region.
The 2026 NFCA Division II All-America teams will be announced on Wednesday, May 27.
