TIGERVILLE, S.C. –
J.P. Galloway and
Tyler Flannelly combined for five goals, but it was not enough as host North Greenville scored 12 unanswered goals in the first half and won 23 of the 31 total faceoffs en route to clinching a 19-8 win over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas contest this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Galloway tallied a team-high three goals to go along with two groundballs, while Flannelly chipped in two goals, three ground balls, and a caused turnover.
- Ryan Bird finished with a goal, an assist, and a ground ball, with both Tyler Finley and Jake Emm scoring goals for the Bobcats.
- Spence Combs added two assists, three groundballs, and a caused turnover.
- After a scoreless first seven minutes of action, Lees-McRae opened the scoring as Galloway scored off an assist by Combs to give the Bobcats an early lead.
- North Greenville scored the next 12 goals to grab momentum and gave up only one final Bobcat goal by Emm off an assist by J.P. Daniels, on the extra-man opportunity, to claim a 12-2 halftime lead.
- After the Crusaders scored the first two goals of the second half, Galloway scored his second goal of the game to cut the lead to 14-3.
- Finley, Bird, Flannelly (two goals), and Galloway all scored goals in the fourth quarter to trim the lead to 18-8 with 3:31 left in the contest.
- North Greenville closed out the game's scoring to clinch the conference win.
- Antonio Cruz finished with nine saves in net for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae forced 19 Crusaders turnovers, compared to 16 for the Bobcats, but were outshot 28-16 in shots-on-goal during the contest.
FOR THE FOES:
- Hayden Moffat tallied seven goals and an assist, while Thomas Cecere chipped in four goals and two assists.
- Four Crusaders combined to make eight saves in net.
UP NEXT:
The Bobcat will travel to Greenwood, South Carolina on Saturday, March 26 for a non-conference contest against Lander starting at 2 p.m.
