GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released its Spring Academic All-Conference Teams Presented by Barnes & Noble College on Thursday morning, which recognizes junior and senior student-athletes who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale, honoring 24 student-athletes from Lees-McRae College.
The Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams, under head coach
Ley Fletcher, and the women's lacrosse program, under head coach
Josh Shingleton, all finished with four student-athletes earning this academic honor each, while the softball team, under head coach
Kendall Fuller, the women's tennis team, under head coach
Gene Highfield, and the men's volleyball program, under head coach
Pono Yin, all had three student-athletes honored. The men's lacrosse team, under head coach
Brad Dunn, and the men's tennis team, under head coach

The GPA is calculated based on the cumulative average of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institutions for at least one academic year.
