GREENSBORO, N.C. – Jean Origene tied a school record in the 100-meter dash and ran a leg of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished second overall, while both
Cameron Adair and
Rien Freeman posted top-five finishes in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, to lead the Lees-McRae men's outdoor track & field team on the final day of the North Carolina A&T Aggie Classic.

DAY 1 NOTABLES:
- Max Geckler crossed fourth in the 5,000-meter run on the men's side with a time of 16:00.26, while Ian Kelbert and Landon Cromer finished fifth (16:04.27) and seventh (16:59.83) respectively.
- Brennen Pierce was ninth in the 1,500-meter run (3:58.76), while Spencer Piercy was 10th (39.73 meters) in the javelin throw.
DAY 2 NOTABLES:
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Origene, Jayden Green, Christian Bargaineer, Aaron Kirby, and Jeff Nickerson finished third overall with a time of 42.08.
- Adair and Freeman crossed third (10:19.79) and fourth (10:45.77) respectively in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
- Bargaineer finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.03 and seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 13.45 meters.
- Origene finished 15th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.58, which tied the school record set in 2016.
- David James Exum posted a 14th-place finish in both the hammer throw (35.61 meters) and in the shot put (12.54 meters).

The Bobcats will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championships starting on Friday, April 29 in Mount Olive, North Carolina.
