GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Lees-McRae men's swimming, under first-year head coach
Christian Nishimura, has been selected to finish third in the 2022-23 Conference Carolinas Men's Swimming Preseason Poll with Emmanuel being slated as the favorite.
Caleb Eidson,
Nathan Higdon, and
Thomas Ware were all selected as Preseason Swimmers to Watch.
The Lions topped the poll with 25 points and five-of-six first-place votes while Barton was picked second with 20 points just ahead of Lees-McRae who tallied 18 points and the remaining first-place nod. King (12), Salem (10) and Chowan (5) rounded out the poll.
In 2021-22, the Bobcats finished in third place overall as six men's swimmers were recognized on the All-Conference Carolinas teams with Eidson, Higdon, and Ware all garnering third-team honors.

Lees-McRae men's swimming is back in the pool for the 2022-23 season on Sept. 25 at Appalachian State in a scrimmage.
