BRISTOL, TENN. – Lees-McRae men's and women's swimming made the trip to Bristol, Tennessee to compete in the tri-meet with hosts King and Emory & Henry. The Bobcat men and women combined for seven victories in the 22 events on Friday.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Thomas Ware earned the first individual victory of the night for the Bobcats in the 1,000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:40.68. Ware ended the evening with a win in the 500 Yard Freestyle to sweep the distance events for the Bobcats.
- Caleb Eidson placed second in the 50 Free with a time of 22.07 and ended the night with a victory in the 100Y Free with a time of 49.14. Cooper Gobble followed in second in the 100 Free with a time of 50.10.
- Nathan Higdon joined Eidson and Ware on the top of the podium with a victory in the 100 Yard Breaststroke and Josh Wall took third in the event.
- Wall placed second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:01.92.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Tate Abbott collected wins in the 50 Yard Free with a time of 24.63 and 100 Free with a time of 53.27.
- Taylor Simmons second in the 500 Free (5:38.89) and fourth in the 1,000 Free with a time of 11:44.07.
- Lees-McRae women also took first in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:44.05. Guillermina Rentsch, Hannah Hudson, Taylor Simmons, and Abbott recorded the win for the Bobcats in the final event of the night.
- Hudson collected a third-place finish in the 100Y Butterfly with a time of 1:04.16.
- Kandance Kennedy guided the Bobcats with a third-place finish in the 100-yard Backstroke with Guillermina Rentsch and Piper Kelly following in fourth and fifth.

The Lees-McRae men's and women's swimming programs head to Jefferson City, Tennessee to battle against Carson-Newman in a dual meet on Saturday, Oct. 21 starting at 1 p.m.
