MARS HILL, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's swimming compiled six event victories in today's tri-meet with King and Mars Hill. The Bobcat women earned two wins over King, 88-82, and Mars Hill, 96-92, while the men's team dealt King a 113-73 loss on Saturday.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Cooper Gobble earned second in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:50.89 and Thomas Ware placed fourth at 1:52.04.
- Caleb Eidson tallied third place in the 50 Free at 21.98 and two second-place finishes in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:38.82) and 200 Free Relay (1:29.76). Nathan Higdon joined Eidson with a third-place finish in the 200 Yard IM after a time of 2:05.63 and second place in the 200 Yard Backstroke at 2:19.49.
- Josh Wall took third in the 200 Yard Butterfly and second in the 200 Medley Relay. Asie Buttar placed third in the 100 Yard Freestyle behind Gobble's second place in the event. Chase Davis turned in a third-place in the 500 Free with a time of 5:03.71 behind Ware's second place of 5:02.85.
- In the final event of the day, the Bobcats placed second in the 200 Free Relay with Gobble, Eidson, Davis, and Stephen Bandy.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Taylor Simmons guided the Bobcats in today's tri-meet with three total victories on the day. Simmons took first in the 1,000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 11:26.85 and earned first in the 500 Yard Free with a time of 5:34.79. Simmons closed her day in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a first-place time of 1:43.14.
- Riley Gleason collected a victory in the 200 Yard Free after touching the wall in 2:05.92 and tallied a fourth place in the 100 Yard Free at 1:00.63.
- Tate Abbott joined Simmons with multiple victories in the meet with a first place in 50 Yard Free at 24.71 and 100 Yard Free at 54.02. Abbott joined fellow Bobcats Kandace Kennedy, Guillermina Rentsch, and Simmons in the 200 Yard Free Relay for a first-place finish in a time of 1:43.14.
- Rentsch, in her lone individual event, took second in the 200 Yard Backstroke after stopping the clock at 2:14.18. Rentsch along with Gleason, Sarah Munzenmaier and Piper Kelly earned second to start the day in the 200Y Medley Relay.
