Jayden Green started off his Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championships with a third-place finish in the Men's High Jump and
Deanna Betzer placed fourth in the Women's 5,000-Meter Run for the Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field.

MEET: Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championships
LOCATION: JDL Fast Track – Winston-Salem, North Carolina
MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Green cleared a height of 1.95 meters in the High Jump to garner All-Conference Carolinas Third Team on Sunday evening for the Bobcats.
- Max Geckler collected a fifth-place finish in the Men's 5,000-Meter Run with a time of 15:21.52 and Isaac Reyna placed 12th in the event. Colin Henry finished in 13th place for the Bobcats in the 5,000 meters and Landon Cromer rounded out the Lees-McRae runners in the event in the 15th.
- Christian Bargaineer qualified sixth in tomorrow's Men's 60 Meter Hurdles Finals after a time of 8.63 seconds.
- Lees-McRae also picked up points in the Distance Medley after finishing in fifth with Silas Arendash, Ethan Urichko, Josh Gillis, and Rien Freeman in the relay.
- The Bobcats are in fifth place with 14 total points after day one of the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championships.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Betzer placed fourth in the Women's 5,000-Meter Run after clocking a season-best 18:42.33 time in the race.
- Lora Dillon started strong in the Women's Long Jump with a mark of 5.23 meters and earned eighth place in the event.
- The Bobcats finished day one in ninth place in the Medley Relay after posting a time of 13:40.89. The relay was comprised of Maddie Quinn, Kaitlyn Rowe, Campbell Dille, and Kaylee Kraver.
- The Lees-McRae women's track & field team is in eighth place after the first day of the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track & Field Championships
