Taylor Barrineau and men's cycling sophomore
Dominic Mudry have been named Bobcats of the Week for the week of September 18 - September 24.
Barrineau, a Iron Station, North Carolina native, scored her first collegiate hat trick in 47 minutes last Tuesday evening in the Bobcats' 5-0 victory against Southern Wesleyan. Barrineau also recorded an assist in the shutout victory and collected four shots on goal. Barrineau also logged 80 minutes of play on Saturday in a 2-2 draw at Belmont Abbey.
Mudry, a gravity specialist from North Royalton, Ohio, picked up one of seven victories for the Bobcats men's cycling program this past weekend at the High Country Mountain Bike Challenge, hosted by Lees-McRae. Mudry claimed the top spot in the Dual Slalom on Saturday afternoon and also took fourth in the Downhill Men's A event on Sunday. Lees-McRae men's cycling compiled seven victories over four disciplines on the weekend and took wins in all of the "A" events on the men's side in the two-day event.
