SALISBURY, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's swimming were back in the pool this afternoon with a tri-meet with Chowan and Catawba. The Bobcats took wins against Conference Carolinas member Chowan, but fell to the hosts Catawba on Saturday.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Chase Davis collected a second-place finish in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:58.00 and had a fourth place in the 100 Yard Back in a time of 54.25. Davis tallied fifth in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:04.91.
- Thomas Ware compiled a solid day of finishes in the pool with a runner-up finish in the 1000 Yard Free with a time of 10:27.85 and placed third in the 50Y Free with a time of 22.96. Ware placed fourth in the 500 Free after touching the wall in 4:59.18.
- Josh Wall collected a second-place finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly (53.70) and two fourth-place finishes in the 200Y Fly (2:05.18) and 200 Yard IM (2:05.52).
- Nathan Higdon recorded two third-place finishes in the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:18.96) and the 200 Yard IM (2:04.69).
- Lees-McRae closed the afternoon with a third place in the 200 Yard Free Relay after finishing in a time of 1:33.51.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Tate Abbott led the Bobcats in the pool with a second-place finish in the 100 Yard Free (54.38) and two third-place finishes in the 50 Free (24.78) and 100 Yard Butterfly (1:01.15).
- Taylor Simmons completed her day with a second-place mark in the 200Y IM with a personal-best time of 2:19.77. Simmons also tallied third in the 500 Free (5:35.55) and the 1000 Yard Free (11:32.89).
- Guillermina Rentsch placed third in the 100 Yard Backstroke in a time of 1:03.75 and two fourth-place finishes in the 500 Yard Free (5:39.11) and the 200 Yard Backstroke (2:18.44).
