Clay Adams and
Tyler Flannelly each tallied two goals in today's game against Chowan, but Lees-McRae men's lacrosse fell to the Hawks, 18-7, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Tyler Flannelly tied the game at one goal apiece with 8:49 left in the first quarter, but answered two goals for the 3-1 lead after 15 minutes.
- The Hawks used two man-up goals to start the second quarter and a third from Eric George with 10:02 remaining for the 6-1 lead. Dylan Gignac got the Bobcats back on the board with 9:24 left in the first half, but Chowan had the 8-3 lead into the break.
- Spence Combs recorded a goal with 10:38 left in the third as Lees-McRae trailed by 10 goals after the third. Chowan took the final by a score of 18-7 after Dozzi's fourth goal of the day.
- Clay Adams and Flannelly each registered two goals in today's contest and Flannelly had four caused turnovers and five ground balls. Cam Domanowski and Jones tallied five ground balls in the game and Hobgood went 13-29 from the face-off.
- Eddie Patterson made seven saves in goal for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE HAWKS:
- Eric George led Chowan with six goals and four assists on the day. Jacob Malia had five goals and one assist and Erik Dozzi collected four goals and seven assists on the afternoon.
- Gavin Koors recorded the win in goal for Chowan with 15 saves in 45 minutes of play.
