BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's lacrosse concluded its season with a 18-5 loss to Emmanuel on Friday afternoon. Seven Bobcat seniors were honored before today's contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Clay Adams, Ryan Bird, Jones Hobgood, Garrett Gulley, Tyler Flannelly, Eli Padowicz, and Logan Ryan were all recognized prior to today's game as part of senior day festivities.
- Emmanuel collected the first two goals of the game before Bird got Lees-McRae on the board with 7:06 left in the first quarter. Valentino Cortes added the second goal for the Bobcats with 6:22 remaining in the opening quarter, but the Lions held the 5-2 advantage after 15 minutes.
- Emmanuel pushed their lead to 10-2 in the second as Cyrus Henderson stopped the scoring run with a goal at the 2:37 mark of the second quarter.
- Combs and Ryan tallied the other goals for the Bobcats in the second half, but Lees-McRae fell to Emmanuel, 18-5, on Friday.
- Hobgood went 16-24 from the face-off for the Bobcats and added eight ground balls. Combs had one goal, one assist, and five ground balls.
- Eddie Patterson made 18 saves in goal for Lees-McRae and recorded six ground balls on the day.
FOR THE LIONS:
- Luke Hildebrandt paced Emmanuel with five goals to go along with four assists and four ground balls. Tanner Park followed with four goals and three Lions had two goals each in the win.
- Jared Weiss collected two goals, five assists, and five ground balls in the contest.
- Matt Pesek contributed 18 saves in goal for Emmanuel.
